Goa India Purple Valley Retreat

Come and experience 2 weeks of Ashtanga Yoga in the magical setting of PURPLE VALLEY RETREAT CENTER IN GOA INDIA – It is located in a peaceful residential valley off a back-road in residential Assagoa, a suburb of Mapusa which is a typical Goan market town.  The Retreat is purpose built, with accommodation for 34 students and a secluded shala with mat space for around 40 mats.  It is set in landscaped tropical gardens, with communal areas for eating and relaxing, and private corners for privacy and contemplation.  It is quiet and safe.  There are many beautiful plants and trees, from rambling bougainvillea to palms and banana.  The only sounds are of the birds, the wind in the trees and the butterflies.  There are occasional visits from tribes of monkeys, and there are views of nearby paddy-fields.  Scooters and motor-bikes may be hired which gives the yoga students the freedom to visit Mapusa market, Anjuna flea market and Arpora night market, and the many lovely beaches within easy reach.  The settings and the yoga are sure to sooth body, mind and soul.  Contact Purple Valley Retreat Center for more information!!!
