Best Wishes For A Healthy And Happy Holiday Season
Share
As 2024 roars to a close and 2025 taps at the door, we’re reminded that every season fades into the next. Whether this year lifted you up or stretched you thin, it’s passing, making space for new beginnings. The invitation now is simple: pause, breathe, and practice mindfulness for self love so the next steps arise from steadiness rather than urgency.
What’s Ahead
I’ll be traveling and teaching less next year, but a few joyful yoga events are on the way and will be posted soon. My new book, years in the making, is nearly ready to meet the world. In January, I’ll share details about launch timing, bonuses, and how to get involved. Until then, keep tending the inner fire with small, consistent rituals.
A Simple Daily Yoga Set (10–12 minutes)
Arrive (1 min): Sit tall, unclench the jaw, lengthen the exhale.
Warm (3 mins): Gentle cat–cow, easy twists, and shoulder rolls, an approachable yoga set to wake the spine.
Build (4 mins): Slow sun salutes or standing flow; keep attention kind and curious. Let this meet your energy, not the other way around.
Settle (2–3 mins): Forward fold or seated hip opener; soften the gaze and return to mindfulness.
Close (1 min): One gratitude note (mental or written) to anchor continuity.
This brief yoga set works best when it’s repeatable. Pair it with breath-led cues and sprinkle mindfulness for self love throughout your day before you open the laptop, after a tough conversation, or while waiting in line.
A Gentle Reminder
Take good care of yourself. Hug family, friends, and the ones you love and, if you can, offer a warm word to someone you’re not so fond of. Small gestures ripple outward. May mindfulness for self love guide your choices, and may this yoga set keep your body, breath, and heart moving in the same direction as we step into 2025.
