Summer Sale - Bundles & More!

Shelley and I are on Maui all month for our MOM event, and it’s a privilege to be teaching yoga in one of the most storied Ashtanga spaces in the world. Nancy taught here for 40 years, and the simple wooden room carries the imprint of generations of practitioners and teachers, from Pattabhi Jois to Manju. Each breath and vinyasa seems to echo the lineage. Our final class for this MOM gathering is on August 25; if you’d like full details about schedules and logistics, you can find more information here.

Breath-Led Practice: Small Shifts, Big Results

In this setting, we’re returning to fundamentals: steady drishti, even breath, and alignment you can feel. Before and after class, we’ve been fielding questions on how to weave pranayama into daily practice. A few simple rhythms of pranayama before Surya Namaskara can quiet the mind and prepare the body; a brief pranayama cool-down after seated postures helps integrate the work you’ve done. Whether you’re brand-new or seasoned, blending teaching yoga insights with practical pranayama can unlock surprising steadiness in your practice.

MOM Moments: Team-Teaching with Shelley

We don’t often get to co-lead, so teaching yoga side-by-side during MOM has been a highlight. Students tell us they feel clearer, calmer, and more connected throughout the day, evidence that consistent breathwork and pranayama support real change beyond asana. The joy in the room is contagious, and it reminds us why teaching yoga is a lifelong path of service and discovery.

Super Summer Sale: Books, Bundles & a New Release

To celebrate summer, all single books are 20% off, plus you’ll find curated bundles with deep discounts!, our biggest sale of 2025. It’s a perfect moment to refresh your library, stock up on study materials, and check out my newest release, Only Dead Fish Go With The Flow!. If you’re building a home library for self-study, these bundles pair especially well with breath-first sequences and your evolving pranayama routine.

See You This Fall

As we wrap up on Maui, I’ll be on the road again this fall and hope to meet many of you at upcoming Ashtanga events. Until then, enjoy these last, golden days of summer, may your practice be grounded, your breath steady, and your curiosity wide open.
